So, again, if anyone knows how to get the Filter Forge 9 plugin working in Photoshop 2022 23.0.1 on an iMac running Monterey 12.0.1, please advise. On the surface, Filter Forge is just a Photoshop plugin, a pack of filters that generate textures, create visual effects, enhance photos, process images. I am sick and tired of dishing out money year after year for something which no longer works as intended. I have paid for every single upgrade, and then some. I have been using the paid version of Filter Forge on my iMacs since version 3.006 ten years ago. We shouldn't have to pay for bug fixes when the problem is on YOUR end, in YOUR software! You fix things, but then you expect us to pay more money to get the fix. Yes, I could email the Filter Forge staff regarding this latest problem, but we all know what they are going to say: "Spend more money and upgrade." Thanks, but no thanks! It seems that you folks are just about money, money, money. I simply want the FF plugin to work as intended.

That method totally defeats the purpose of having a FF plugin in the first place. Has anyone found a better solution to this problem?įor the record, I am not interested in using some archaic method of copying and pasting layers into Filter Forge, and then copying back into Photoshop. The Filter Forge plugin is STILL not appearing under my "Filters" menu in Photoshop. In other words, I made an alias of the "Filter Forge 9 ugin" file, and I placed it in Photoshop's "Plug-ins" folder. Next, I followed the tip that was posted here earlier. To try to fix this problem, I shut down Photoshop, and then I reinstalled Filter Forge 9. I am not even sure how long ago it happened, or in what version of Photoshop it happened, but the Filter Forge plugin is no longer appearing under my "Filters" menu in Photoshop. I recently updated Photoshop to 2022 23.0.1 on my iMac running Monterey 12.0.1. I am encountering the same problem as everyone else.
